Shoes Headline
There I was driving to work, and I spotted the headline outside the newsagents. It read "City boy, 5, saved by shoes".
Wierd. Heroic shoes. Bet they got interviewed for the paper, too. I’m sure they were modest, though. Played it down, the way people do. "No, really, it was nothing. I couldn’t just leave him there, could I? It’s just what any shoe with a sole would have done."
