Longmire does Romance Novels: “I think a lot of us can agree that a large number of romance novel covers are pretty silly and are just asking to be ridiculed. So that’s exactly what I did. I bought a few of them at the used book store and got to work on them. The artwork almost writes its own jokes.”

Yahoo! Search blog: Image Search: Does Size Matter?
There’s some clever stuff here. Yahoo!’s image search now understands size and ‘black and white’. If you ask it for “small black and white kittens“, it finds you pictures of small black and white kittins. If you ask it for “small black and white pictures of kittens“, it works out that you want the pictures to be small and black and white, not the kittens, and does the search accordingly. You can specify large images too, for when you’re needing a higher resolution picture. Useful stuff.
Would be nice if it could flag pics from sites with Creative Commons licenses, too, so you’d know you’re actually allowed to Photoshop those kittins for the world. (PigPog is CC licensed
