I’ve not seen the video file – damn dial-up interweb connection – but the stills certainly make it look impressive – Rock Balancing.

If you feel like being a bit creative, you can use pretty much anything that comes to hand. Even rocks.

I’ve seen a few of these pictures before – they do the rounds by email every now and again – but there’s quite a collection together on this page. His most amazing pictures are the 3D ones that only work from just the right viewpoint. If you stand in the right place, though, he can make it look as though a hole has opened up in the pavement and is swallowing people right in front of you, or as if there’s a swimming pool in the middle of the street.

Jodie’s Online Photography Course on morgueFile really looks excellent. I’ve not had a really good look through it yet, but I like her first bit of advice from lesson one…
