Line 6 Variax Guitars

Latest Update: Added the new Variax Acoustic 300 – thanks to Gary.

Line 6‘s Variax Guitars use acoustic modelling technology to sound like a whole collection of classic guitars, all available to choose from at the flick of a switch.

Range

  • Variax 300 – The cheap one – added recently to get the entry level price down. Slimmer neck and flatter fingerboard than the others, with an Agathis body.
  • Variax 500 – The original, made to look a little bit Strat-like, but with hints of other guitars. We actually have one of these, so see our Variax 500 Review.
  • Variax 700 – The expensive one – made to look a bit like a PRS. Very pretty.

Bass Guitar

  • Variax Bass 700 – Same technology in a bass guitar.

Acoustic Guitar

  • Variax Acoustic 700
  • Variax Acoustic 300, available strung with steel or nylon.
