[...] I am Officially a Notebook Addict I forgot my notebooks at home today, and I missed them more than I missed my house keys (even though forgetting my house keys meant waiting 45 minutes for someone to come home and let me in). I reached for them almost instinctively so many times today that it’s embarrassing. I currently have two notebooks on me at all times (I have others that I use for more specific things, so their on me only when I need them): One is an Alywch notebook, where I write a little almost every day, mostly to remind myself of what happened that day, to figure things out or get things out of my system, and to ensure that I write a little every day. The other one is a blank Moleskine pocket reporter, and I use it mostly to capture things – various lists, to-do items, phone numbers, addresses, e-mail addresses, sketches, story drafts, etc. It’s a kind of general organizer, so to speak. I was intending to use it as a GTD system at first, but I now use Things to manage most of my GTD stuff, and the notebook just for capturing purposes. The page setup still owes much to PigPog’s GTD system. [...]
