Under the History menu, you should have an option for "Reopen All Windows From Last Session". You also should have an item for reopening the most recently closed window/tab.

The option is there, but it's greyed out for me. Tried killing Safari with a few tabs open, rather than closing it, and it's still greyed out. Firefox seems to be working happily for me these days, though, with no crashes at all recently, so I'm pretty happy with that again.

Don't forget, the reloading old windows and tabs is a relatively new function for Mozilla too.

That's true, Katie - it was new in version 2.0, wasn't it? There were a few extensions offering it before then, though, which is another big advantage Firefox has. Still, at the moment, I don't seem to be able to use Firefox for long without it crashing, so I'm keeping an eye on the alternatives.
