		<description>&lt;p&gt;Thanks Peter.  Actually, I think Curves is one thing GIMP does better than anything else.  The curves adjust window can be resized as big as you want, and has the histogram displayed behind the curve, so you can see where your brightest and darkest shades are.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I mainly boosted the contrast, which darkened the darker areas, loosing a lot of detail.  It seemed to work better that way, for me, anyway.  This might be a good one to come back to after I&#039;ve played with a few more ideas on other shots.&lt;/p&gt;
