Because that’s how good the weather is here today. Hot pudding weather. Also I’m feeling my age and status. I’ve been a housewife for a few months now, may as well embrace it.
EDIT – What I ended up doing was chopping up cherries, bananas and an apple, baking them for a little while with some sugar and honey, then topped with a slice of the delicious fruit loaf we bought from Stevie B’s Bakery in Crediton, and a little apple juice.
I doubt it’d make the dessert menu at Les Halles, but it worked quite nicely for us.
