The entrance to Guildhall in Exeter:

I took several photos of the top part of the building. I edited each of these separately in Silver Efex Pro, using different settings for each, just to make sure the panorama software, PanoEdit, couldn’t do too good a job – I wanted this to be messy. I let it do its best to join them up, and exported the result back to Aperture. I used Silver Efex Pro for the main central shot too, working from a colour original. I’d taken shots in black and white too, but this one had the man jumping up the stairs, which gave the picture more life.

I used Pixelmator to overlay the entrance picture over the construction from PanoEdit.
