Name plate on a traction engine, at the Devon County Show.
Fence posts. A pano made in Affinity Photo.
The owners sit with their mini traction engine at the Devon County Show. Three images, stacked with Affinity Photo.
A pano made with Affinity Photo. Old farm machinery, driven by a traction engine – actually being driven from the belt, which was attached to what I assume was a much more recent tractor.
A pano of the front part of a Fordson tractor. Images stacked using Affinity Photo. I applied edits to some of the images using adjustment layers tied to the image layers. I’m impressed with Affinity Photo so far for this sort of thing.
A classic tractor, which Mary Phillips has driven from John O’Groats to Lands End, then back again, all at 9mph. She raised £56,000 for the Cornwall and Devon air ambulances – wasn’t just holding up traffic for fun. Lots of photos, stitched together by PanoEdit.
The front of an old Morgan three-wheeler.
A sizeable owl at Paignton Zoo.
A pano of The Masterpiece traction engine, at the Devon County Show. PanoEdit did it’s usual great job of stitching most of it together, but I wanted a rougher finish, with more of a hand-made look. I tried to do my usual trick of loading the result from PanoEdit with some of the source images […]
It was a very still bird. I thought it was a model at first, but it did move occasionally. Leica Elmar lenses, a 90mm for most of the shots, and a 135mm for the bird. All glommed together using DoubleTake.
