Looks quite decent, actually. Sounds like itâ€™s going to be pay-for-ware when itâ€™s finished, so itâ€™ll have to be a good step up from the free Picasa to be worth it, but it does look good.
I probably wonâ€™t be trying it out myself – Iâ€™m still tempted with trying to make the jump to Linux soon, so I donâ€™t want to set up a workflow for myself that involves any apps only available for Windows and Mac.
We use a very simple system at the moment, where photos go in dated folders, then grouped in subfolders for a set of related shots, making sure any keywords are in the folder name. That means we can find them with simple filesystem searches, and Picasa can very quickly filter for a keyword. Simple, but it works well enough for what we need at the moment.
