Home :: Knitting in the Darkness

Knitting is something I’ve never actually tried, but I’ve known people who would knit everywhere and anywhere. If you’re like that, now even the darkness doesn’t need to stop you knitting (as offputting as Justin’s high-pitch squealing can be).

See the story and pics at Gizmodo – there’s knitting needles and crochet hooks, all with LEDs so the whole needle glows in the dark. At $40, I’d guess they’re a bit more expensive than normal needles, but as some of the commenters have pointed out, it’s a bargain when they double up as small toy light sabers. Looks like they make the wool stand out really clearly, too, even when it’s not dark. And anyway, knitters need some toys.
