This post is kind of a combination of two things – a few photos around Exeter, then a big panograph, sometimes called a ‘joiner’ or a ‘photo construction’, of Paris Street, taken from the roof of Princesshay car park. The panograph is probably the interesting bit, so let’s get the general photos out of the way first. I do like some of these – some interesting patterns.








Now for the panograph. It’s made up of a lot of photos. Probably at least 50 or so – I have a note that the main section behind the barrier was 39 photos. Each one was processed individually – back then I was using ON1 Photo, so they were processed with one of my own presets. The railing along the front was done differently, in monochrome. This was a few years ago now. If I was doing it today, I’d be using Affinity Photo, but at the time I used PanoEdit. My notes say the result was a 438 megapixel image.
