Event: Crikey It’s Vintage

Quite a few of these posts of old events (this one is written in 2020, from an event in 2013) are a bit limited by my lack of memory of the event. But this one is worse, because I didn’t even sort the photos into an album at the time. So I don’t even have the event name to go on. And I can’t remember what the event was.

I think it was a ‘Crikey It’s Vintage’ event. It’s almost all car photos, but those events did often have a few old cars. So, don’t expect any story, just a bunch of photos. But there are some nice photos.

Update: Yes, it was Crikey It’s Vintage, at Killerton. As soon as I added some photos, the descriptions I’d added to the photos years ago showed up, telling me what the event was. Should have checked there before, really.

A bulging bonnet (hood to those who aren’t Brits) at the ‘Crikey It’s Vintage’ event at Killerton. Taken with old Asahi Takumar 50mm f/1.4 lens.
Me. Reflecting on who I am. Reflected in the back of a vintage car’s mirror, at the ‘Crikey it’s Vintage’ event at Killerton. Taken with a vintage 1971 Asahi Takumar 50mm f/1.4 lens. It seemed right to use a vintage lens for a vintage event.
