I don’t usually do much in the way of retouching photos. I prefer a more natural look, and apart from adding a bit of style to the image, I don’t think the models I work with need ‘correcting’. Skin should look like skin, not a porcelain doll.
As part of learning to use Affinity Photo better, though, I’ve been watching a lot of tutorials on retouching portraits, and I thought I’d have a go. This is the result – much more heavy-handed than I’d normally do, but interesting to try, and maybe something I’ll do a bit more of in future, just toned down a bit.
