Lens Adapters

I’ve used quite a few vintage and non-native lenses on my Sony E-Mount cameras, using simple adapters. They don’t have any electronics or glass in them, they just hold the lens in the right place to work. You set the camera to work without a lens, as it can’t tell there’s one there.

With Sony cameras, there’s a feature called Focus Peaking, which highlights the parts that are in focus in your choice of colours. I think other brands have the same thing. It makes it a lot easier to focus than trying to zoom in on part of the image to check.
